#39They should, because that's a common complaint nowadays. South Point was onto it quick, their race book is in a whole other area. Now the 60-and-over east coast transplants don't have to hang out with the fat slobs wearing Kobe jerseys with no t-shirt.Comment -

#41why is that jj I noticed this along time ago I always bet way more when I am in vegas than I do at home online but no love other than drink tickets. Do you think I can ask to be rated? or will they just tell me to fukk off? i don't know jack shit about dog and horse racing but it seems like the guys are betting 5 bucks on a trifecta but they get comps?Comment -

#43Las Vegas sports books make much more money with the horses then sports betting
The takeout is tremendous
The loss rate is very very high as far as players
It's why New Jersey sadly mistaken if they think they're going to make a killing taking Sports wagersComment -

#46When I checked Westgate lines online, I see an arb with offshore lines. Can these arb opportunities be found daily or just occasionally? Or are these Westgate line feeds from Covers & Don Best inaccurate & not updated promptly?Comment -

If you're not subscribing to a real-time service disregard Vegas linesComment -

#51true...Vegas is definitely set up for table game bettors, but drinks are in an issue in most sportsbooks. I know in the ARIA, you get one drink ticket per $175 wager...makes no sense to meComment -

#54Nope, if you sign up for a LVH Rewards card for the sports book it is a separate rewards card from the table games. You hand them your sports book rewards card and they swipe it before you make your wager. I forget how much money in rewards you get per $Xamount of money wagered but it is the best value in Vegas as far as sports books. It also lets you get away with wagering more on UFC or bases or a more limited sport. The kicker is you can only use the reward $ that you earn at the buffet and at the deli in the book. I wish they would toss you a room or something, but as jj said, casinos are making their money on the table games. They don't care much for the sports book.Comment -

#57Yeah, free lunch or two when you're going to be betting there anyway. Just annoying that you have to get the normal Rewards card, then the sportsbook rewards card.

#68I just don't know if it's a great idea though. Guys like me would go there to watch games I can't get with my cable, and be placing bets on 5d, bovada, and the Will Hill app all day.
Then again, most people I talk to in Vegas don't even know what those are, so who knows.Comment
