Guys, I have seen it all....or nearly all.
Last week while in Vegas for the Opening Round of the NCAA Tournament I was standing in line at Caesars Palace to put a play on Sienna +2.5 vs Ohio St. Right in front of me was this middle aged Asian dude with a brief case. Now, what I was about to see was all out insanity. The guy pulls out his wad of 100's and says that he wants to put 22 thousand down on Ohio St! I am like Holy ****! This guy has inside info on the game. After a few minutes of talking with the Manager that was on duty they proceed to put the bet in. As I approach the counter the teller says to me, "He must know something that we dont know." Never in my life have I felt that my 200.00 wager was meaningless. I mean 22 grand? Are you ****ing serious? On top of that, just think how the OSU vs Sienna game ended. Insane! Anyone ever seen something like this happen before their very eyes?

Honestly, the guy didnt flinch. I mean how could you not get pissed? He sat there and took it. I watched him get up and walk away. Just crazy. Obviously his 22 grand was like me playing with 100. For all of those that didnt think Vegas would take large wagers.....well that to me is a LARGE wager. It was a rush.

Don't fool yourself, his unit hurts him just like everyone's hurts them. That is why they are called units. We all bet enough to hurt, whether that is 1 cent or 1 trillion dollars, because when you get right down to it, we are all trying to win more than we had before.

Sammy, I was thinking of you in Vegas while the Sienna games were going on. They gave those big dogs hell and proved that they belonged no matter what. Way to go Sammy, and Sienna. Nice showing the Saints had.

What? Why would you need a briefcase to carry 220 bills? You can easily fit them in your jacket pocket. What?

I'd imagine a few here could have 22k or more on 1 single game. Not that much.

I saw guys cash out mad loot after the Tyson - Holyfield 1 fight. Tyson was a 25 to 1 fav open and it went all the way down to 6 to 1 at fight time. Wise guys loaded up on Holyfield and the books lost their asses. I saw a guy cash out $150K. They paid him in a small bag. I heard another guy got paid out over $100K just seconds before. I had a G on Holyfield at 8 to 1 that I got that afternoon. I was pissed that my Southwest airlines flight got delayed because the line was 15-1 an hour earlier. A buddy wanted me to put $2K on Holyfield but I never placed the bet because the line dropped so bad, I didn't think he would want it. He was tried to call me afterwards every other minute and imagine how pissed he was when I told him I didn't make the bet for him.

Buster Douglas was like a 40-1 dog as well. I knew I should have put something on that one but layed off it.

I put $500 on Bruce Seldon when he fought Tyson back in the mid 90's. I think I got like 22 to 1. I was in the Bahamas playing Blackjack with Donovan "Razor" Ruddock. Razor was an up and coming heavyweight that Tyson ducked early in his career (ironically he fought Buster Douglas instead where he lost). He then fought Razor later and that bastard Richard Steele stops the fight when clearly Ruddock wasn't hurt. It turned into a brawl in the ring. They rematched a few months later and it went the distance. Tyson's ear drum burst in that fight and he would say that Ruddock hit like a fcking mule.

Anyway, I said to myself... "what are the chances of me playing blackjack with Ruddock, I'm up large at the tables, WTF, Seldon is going to win this fight". I put 5 bills on Seldon and he flops in the first round. What an asshole. They should have held his purse, damn pussy.

Tupac was killed later that evening in Vegas after that fight. Chit seems like yesterday but was probably at least 10 years ago.
