constructive criticism is good though, if he is back visiting he prob has some valuable insights into how things look different from a year ago..

mr. hog, what were the top 5 things in player's talk back when you liked it?

1) Wheel of Banishment with BBD

2) Women Posters that left and still know more about sports than the little girls that post now.

3) MoFome's write-ups vs the endless Loser Locks now posted

4) Gyno's broad of the week vs RS' fag avatars.

5) Intelligent posters that have either left or post only in S&I or Think Thank since Fag Patrol and Junior High took over.

If everything the chronic complainers complained about was changed to suit their needs/wants, they would no longer be posting on the forum because they'd have nothing to complain about.

I basically agree that Players Talk is pretty lame. Obviously it depends what you are looking for. To anyone hoping the forum would mainly be a tool for making money at betting off-shore and attracting knowledgable newbies, Players Talk is about as lame as it can be. But that whole concept is ancient history anyway.

I find it is getting more and more dominated by a few postoholics who are mainly looking to fill the hours of their life. That wouldn't be so bad if people were funny - and in fairness, a few are - but particularly among the busiest posters, SBR has become the home of the humor-free joke. Just post anything that's not true - it's a joke. It doesn't matter if there is humor or a point - just as long as it's not true and makes noise and kills some time.

That's lame to me. I like funny.

The saving grace for me is the Sportsbook and Industry discussion and there are a few very bright funny people.

Players Talk is quite a little clusterf*ck at times. Newbies asking legit questions get bad answers in the form of humor-free jokes shoveled at them from their first post - even getting ridiculed for not being in on the inside "jokes."

Lame to me. But I realize I am not in the target demographic.
