I think he spit in her face which was led to her "attacking" him. If you want to call it that. He also slapped her before she ever did anything to him. Watch the 25 second mark of the video that I posted.

If you watch it closely...he smacks her with the left but she actually knocks herself out on the metal rail while on the way down. Not saying its ok to hit her...but she did rush him and if her injuries are on her left eye...would be from the fall and not rice's punch.

Yea i'm guessing not the first time these two have went hands on during their relationship...before they get in the elevator she does the usual female swat slap at him....and the quick punch in the elevator wasn't a grab her by the hair and load up and punch her dead in the cheek it was more of a 'bitch i told you' one then he just puts his hands back to his pockets.

So, not cool to ever hit a woman in the face, but this wasn't a full scale beat down - that rail did more damage than his fist- and she shouldn't have stayed with him this long unless she's ok with the abuse as long as he buys the cars and purses
