I'm taking the Pens but it's surprising how bad they have been against the Kings at home (Pittsburgh is 1-5-2 SU in its last 8 games when playing at home against Los Angeles)....

Los Angeles can play with anyone when they are motivated, last night in Boston was a good example, Kings down 2-0 in the 3rd and win in overtime. Boston is better than Pitt although they play a different style.

I hate laying -1.5 goals, often a team up by two doesn't play as motivated as when trailing or tied, although I think this bet has a chance because of the emotion from last nights game and the travel factor for LA.

I'm not playing it though.

good points but is Boston isn't really better than Pittsburgh now? Their overall records says different but they aren't playing well. New jersey is going to catch them for the over Eastern Conference most likely and the Bruins haven't looked at all like they did early on in the season.

Kings activated Justin Williams today, that could provide a bit of a spark, if for nothing else an emotional boost.

I agree the Pens should win tonight, but -1.5 at only +115 doesn't have any value at all in my opinion. The Kings are a very defense-oriented team, and the offense has been clicking pretty well since O'Sullivan's departure as well. Pens should win this game, and covering certainly isn't out of the question, but I really don't think the Pens win this game by 2 47% of the time.

Kings played yesterday and Pittsburgh are playing excellent and scoring lots of goal. Canucks and Pittsburgh are arguably the hottest teams over the last couple weeks.
