                It's 1000% true. Cancer.

MLB has already tweeted out condolences.

I still check the MLB leaders daily, see a guy batting .302 in the Top-10 of both leagues, and wonder, "where have you gone, Tony Gwynn and Wade Boggs?"

First Braves game I went to, I was sitting in Fulton County by the outfield field and Gwynn reached into the stands and took a foul ball from me. Sad day for baseball.

I would of never posted anything like death if i wasn't certain i saw it live on the Dan Patrick show they said it, i then saw it all over twitter. One of the purest hitters of all time, no doubt.

Outside of his rookie season, he never struck out more than he walked. Pretty impressive...guys like Adam Dunn and Dan Uggla strike out more in 1 year and a half than he did in 20
