Cutler probably going to be gone from Denver
This thing look unrepairable at this point, with Cutler asking to be traded. Sucks as a Denver fan to see this, but I hope he gets picked up by Tennessee or a team with a reasonably good Defense in need of good quarterback play. And hopefully this guy shoves it up the Broncos organization like what Barry Sanders did to Detroit.

I'm probably done being a Denver fan for now, unless this Mckid gets us into the playoffs his first year. Back to just being regular football fan after being a loyal broncos fan for 20 years.

Cutler to Bears? They need someone who can throw more than 5 yards...

How have other NE assistant coaches have done as a head coach?
They all failed, this trash is not any different.

Tampa Bay probably would be a front runner and probably willing to give up a lot to get him. I would give a 1st and 3rd rounder if someone wanted to trade for prospects if I were a GM, but iono.

Its too bad he wont be a donk next year. I really enjoy the rivalry that the chargers and broncos have created. It wont be the same without gay. The chargers will win the division easily next year, and get to the superbowl. Bank on it. The return of one of the best pass rushers in the league will make that defense respectable again.

Oh yeah, sharp post sally. Yea I was wondering what they were going to do for QB this season. The QB they have right now is not really an option I don't think.

Cutler could pull some very good picks/guys in for Denver if they play the deal right. There are teams out there that would go from decent to contenders overnight with this guy. Minnesota, Chicago, Tampa Bay just to name a few.

Ryan, I dont know if he's that good.

ATB, Merriman won't be the same and this was Rivers' only good season. You can't say bank on it when Rivers had one good year. 1st year starter, 92 QB Rating. 2nd year starter, 82 QB Rating. Last year and third year, 105. So don't be so cocky because he isn't that good.

Pairing Cutler with Mike Shanahan with a struggling franchise will equal great early success. All the Broncos needed to do was correct the defense. Bring a couple of Defensive linemans, Linebacker, and some slight tweaking in the secondary and they're set. Now it's a complete disaster, you got a 32 year old kid that is simply too immature to handle a job of this magnitude.

Cutler being gone will probably set this franchise back another 5 years. There's a lot of Jeff George comparison, but as a fan you can't compare him to Jeff George yet because he's only been in the league for 3 years. This guy is only 25, and still has many years great ahead of him to get even better. I can't wait to see him with a team with a decent defense. That's the team I will be following for now.

Sucks for Denver, because that Biotch will take another team to the Superbowl while this organization becomes a joke like the Raiders, Chiefs, and Detroit Lions. I'm hoping this guys play for Tennessee and prove the naysayer how dumb they're are

If you are pointing to my statement about him turning a decent team into a contender I'm beyond lost with you acquisation. Could you please illustrate how labeling teams from decent to a contender are so far apart that my opinion made me cocky.

Good point. But the guy they originally were going to trade him for (Matt Cassell) has exactly the same number of playoff victories. Cutler to Tampa Bay, Chris Sims starts in Denver. Cutler gets better weather but no title. Sims gets beaten up.

A team with no running back and no defense got way too close to making the playoffs, and were able to take way too many games off other teams.

Also it is very difficult to protect the qb if the defense knows you are going to throw it sense you have no running back...it makes things much more difficult for the o-line and the qb.

So I would say Cutler was pretty impressive for having a pro bowl year in that setting.

I am hearing that the Browns might be interested in pawning off Brady Quinn or Andersen for Cutler (plus maybe a draft pick). According to ESPN Mangini doesn't like Quinn too much so we might have a good match here.

Firing Shanahan was a big mistake. They just needed someone who could draft for defense.

If I was Cutler, I'd want out of Denver too. That franchise has really fallen into the toilet. I'd like to see him go to the Jets or maybe the 49ers. There's plenty of teams that need a top 10 QB. Let Denver flounder for the next 5-10 years with or without Cutler.

Jets are going to be a great defensive team... they would get a great shot at being a contenda with Cutler

This is what happens when teams keep hiring Belichick's assistants. These guys are garbage coaches and have no man-management skills. You can't treat players like it is a fantasy league.

                                                            I agree.

The problem is that I don't think Belichick is a coaches coach. It's not like his assistants are gleaning any kind of innovative knowledge from being around the HOF coach. Belichick is so introspective, I wonder what kind of interaction he has with his assistants. I bet the true nuts & bolts to the Pats' success are secrets hidden deep within the dungeon master's cobwebs. The assistants are getting nowhere near the juicy tidbits like assistants under the Walsh tree. The Walsh tree guys operated more like a corporate think tank, IMO. Belichick is more like a chess grandmaster, where the true reason & logic to his decisions is only known by him.
