For what it's worth, I had a couple of pushes (freeplay) that were graded as cancelled/no bet and was allowed to make new wagers. This was early in the contest when 5 wins earned $100, might have changed since then.

i sent an email to dimes letting them know the lines were too easy -1.5 and +1.5 mostly, i mean cmon you had three lines +1.5 at -190 or -200 san francisco, san diego and tampa bay , i had talked on chat with the boss when this first thing started and i got the impression he didn't really care too much about this contest he wasn't involved too much think it's a 3rd party thing, but giving away all these prizes it's too easy, i suggested in the email that for games -150 or less to do pk on both sides and games higher than -150 the -1.5 and +1.5 so don't be suprised if in the next few days you see the lines get a little tougher, enjoy your night ladies

It definitely got a lot harder now. They used to be offering like half the board in pick'em games at +1.5. Now I never see it. I blew my shot when I had 7 but took a tough beat on Wash +1.5 at Atlanta on a Sunday night game. Down 2-1 in bottom 8 and they gave up some super lucky bloop single with 2 outs to lose 3-1. There went my xbox one thanks to that!

Not only are the lines "sharper", but they now eliminate or leave off a lot of games I like. I can see it coming to a reduced pro card. You'll only see select NCAAF & NCAAB I imagine too.

Well the new $50 rule isnt really that big of a deal to be honest. Most of us were betting well more than that anyway.

But I knew that this couldnt last for long. Too many high dollar prizes were being sent out. I have won 3 $50 prizes thus far

as expected they are starting to get a bit tighter on the money, now your bet at the beginning of the streak must be 50 dollars as opposed to any bet, this starts september 1st

Based on how much everyone is "killing this contest", according to this thread, $50 bets should be a formality. It's when they give you only 6 MLB, 4 NFL, 2 NHL and 3 NBA games to choose from on a given day that this gets real challenging.

I think you don't have to bet at least $50 in order to get any prizes. As I understand, if you bet $40, then you will get $40 free-play for your 5 win streak, but the 10 win streak prizes and beyond that will not be affected by this new rule.

So, this new rule only affects the 5 win streak.

They definitly made it harder to win, right now you have to win 5 wagers in a row that are about minus 110 to minus 130, if you put those 5 games in a 5 team parlay you would be getting about 20-1 odds.
