It's difficult to slow down the game against a team like Siena. They pick up their defense full court and press most of the game. OSU hasn't played against this type of team in months, certainly not in conference play, as Big Ten teams all play a halfcourt game. OSU's really at a disadvantage in that regard. They're not suited to play this way, largely because they haven't needed to until this point.
OSU has more prominent wins because they've had many more opportunities. However, 10-8 in a conference with decent depth but no real quality at the top after MSU and maybe Purdue is hardly impressive.
