What makes you think Siena will control the pace in that game? Siena's best out of conference win came against St. Joes. They lost to every quality team they faced. I just don't see it. Hasbrouck wouldn't be much in a conference with tougher competition, IMO. Yeah, they had a Cinderella story last year but I don't see it repeating. In fact, I guarantee Matta will be showing his team tape of last year's dance to ensure that the Buckeyes don't overlook them.

OSU hasn't played against this type of team in months, certainly not in conference play, as Big Ten teams all play a halfcourt game. OSU's really at a disadvantage in that regard. They're not suited to play this way, largely because they haven't needed to until this point.

OSU has more prominent wins because they've had many more opportunities. However, 10-8 in a conference with decent depth but no real quality at the top after MSU and maybe Purdue is hardly impressive.

I will be betting ML and Siena +3.5, nothing huge, maybe a little more than usually, probably just normal bet.

They may have had more opportunities but they took advantage of them. It's hard to argue that Siena didn't have their opportunities themselves. They played Pitt, Kansas, Oklahoma St., and Tennessee. OSU goes into this game with more size and far more depth. They shoot better than Siena both in FG% and FT% and that's in a conference that is tough defensively. I just don't see it and my numbers are showing decent value on OSU currently.

I am definitely taking Siena 1st half. I think they pull out a big lead to start and fade from there. I still like them to win, to me its a mismatch...Siena a good experienced team, Ohio State a middle of the road Big Ten team that doesnt rebound very well.

Uhh. When did Siena play N. Iowa? They averaged losses of more than 10 points against Tennessee, Pitt, Oklahoma St., and Kansas. They couldn't even beat a Wichita St. team that finished fifth is the Missouri Valley Conference at home! Meanwhile, Ohio St. has beaten Butler, Michigan St., Miami, Purdue and Iona out of the MAAC by 18.

They played N.Iowa on 2/21!
They did not lose to Wichita St. at home! It was on a neutral site! They led most of the game but choked on free throws at the end, plus they did not play with a full squad in that tournament!

Because if you watched more, you would realize that they were in the games till the end against Pitt and Kansas on the road. The only lost by more than 10 because of fouling at the end! They only lost by 7 to Kansas! And 13 to Pitt (was a 4 point game late)

So what Ohio St. beat Iona by 18! Siena beat them at Iona by 15! Means nothing!

I'm not trying to say Siena is great! But they are pretty good! Maybe the best mid-major this year!

Ohio St. is peaking at the right time. The only way they lose this game would be because of the experience factor, Siena has them outmatched there, but if the young Buckeyes can adjust to the tournament pressure itll be a 8-10 pt victory for them.
