They will still talk Niemi . Their 2 bigger issues are Vlasic still out and starting a goalie whose confidence has to be rattled. Add to that may be McClellan final game as coach of they lose

Might have been calculated, but it is ineffective, as I browsed a number of hockey sites earlier and NHL.com and didn't see anthing about it until I saw the copy of tweet in this thread. With 3 game 7's today, it's going to take something very controversial to take the pressure off Nemi and his teammates. If anything, Joe recognizing the need to try and take pressure off Nemi and his teammates is more eye-opening than anything. Who knows what the outcome will be tonight, but Sharks aren't in a good place.
