people buy into hype.....

you can buy into my suppposed B.E conf hype...

or you can buy into Ryan trying to balance out my hype....with his acc love...

but do your own research...go back and look at the tourney and see how the ACC and BE fared the last 3 years....

They both lose alot of games they shoulda won... BE has done a little bit better overall I think...

but for the last 2 months i've been telling you.... ANY team can win it this year... don't just assume that UNC or Uconn, oklahoma, memphis or louisville wins it all..... let alone breezes through the competition

THINGS ARE MORE WIDE OPEN THEN ANYTHING.... that has always been my thesis..... followed by, this is not your daddy's big east... they are tougher this year then ever..

this is not your daddy's Pitt team... they've never been this talented... they were always a defense/half court offense, rebounding, strong tough team.....with no real scorers...

this year will be different...

what am i wrong about? tpowell said ul vs kentucky is the biggest rivalry there is. maybe in one state, with 500k people it is, but nowhere else. you want to go post by post finding wrong things, lets do it

find a bigger culture difference than Kentucky/Louisville. I never said the talent was always better. I said the rivalry was a lot more intense because they only plays once a year and the fact that things are flip flopped now (Pitino and McCarty now coaching at Louisville).

how about the fact that its near impossible to find a white Louisville fan anywhere outside of the north part of the state. The race difference and the rivalry is bigger than UNC/Duke PERIOD

TP, I am the one who mentioned BC. I just think one of the lesser big east teams or ACC teams will make the sweet 16.

I said middle of the road team, and then mentioned BC. I really like Rice for BC, and depending on who they match up with, I could see them making a mini run. Probably unlikely, but teams from the Big East and Acc have beat up on each other all year, and I think some of their records are deceiving.
