It's a gambling forum on the interwebs full of a bunch of degenerates where people come to let loose. It's the perfect place to vent about something like this.

And on a sidenote, asking students to work full-time while going to school full-time is ridiculous. It would not be an efficient way to do things for the vast, vast majority of people.

I hear ya AAO, I was flat broke a couple years ago, had to sweat it out in a 100 degree heat for a week when my AC broke and I didnt have 300 bucks to get a new one, hard times give you perspective when you finally get some money youll prolly hang on to it, gl, I cant imagine livin in NY with their prices somebody said if you make 50k a year in NY your living at the poverty level

Im paying like $800 for great seats to the sweet 16 and elite 8 in Indy. If you cant afford it dont do it. simple. If you cant afford a expensive car, buy used.

If you can't afford tourney tickets, go to a high school game.

I always believe parents should help somewhat with their kids college education if they take it serious. Too me parents that do not do this for the most part are tight with money and dodging responsibility.

College wages aren't too bad if you found a decent job - there's some decent paying jobs if you qualify for federal work-study. My income isn't low and I still qualified for it.

Just go the game and get tickets out front. Im a broker so i know the ticket prices are falling apart especially for upper level's. You will have no problema t all. What you should also realize is the big east scholls sold the tickets to there fans for all sessions of the tournament. When there team losses they always go outside and dump the tickets so they can get out of town. You can even keep an eye on craigslist in new york . You will get in for $20 or $30 to a game guaranteed.

There is no sale of tickets to the general public for the Big East Tournament. All the tickets are divided among the teams. Naturally, there are plenty of tickets available through a secondary market for those early-round losers, but getting them at a reasonable price, that's another matter.

It's pretty ridiculous to me that college sports could get so hyped to price out people. Everything is a ****ing commodity. What a joke. I couldn't watch that shit unless I had lots of $ riding on it.
