Moneyme I appreciate all of your picks. I think 99% of the people in this thread do except for a few haters. However, this site was created to HELP the average bettor beat their bookies. Help individuals gain a slight edge. By sharing picks, information, knowledge, systems, handicapper picks, we all get better insight on what games to bet.

Your system has been great. The numbers speak for themselves. By beginning a service and charging for your picks you become no different than the thousands of people who join these forums, post picks for a few weeks and then try and take the winnings of the average guys in the form of payment for picks. This site is FREE for a reason. Let's keep it that way.

If you choose to charge people for their picks when they ask you to do extra work, then by all means please do so. I see guys popping in this thread and asking you opinions on games that you have not posted as a play. No one should be doing that and getting answers from you for free. You deserve to be paid for your time and efforts. But your system picks which you personally list here as plays each day should remain free for all the use.

I say this with complete respect as I have been a user of this site for years but only recently joined to discuss nba with Grinder in his thread...If you remain here as a free system poster and capper..THANK YOU!! If you choose to follow the suit of sooooooooooo many countless others who have come on here for weeks and then left to go become a "PRO" then leave now with the followers you have before you become HATED

The sad part for me is that I lost $1000 yesterday on that Denver game through the live wagering. The majority of what I made throughout this week. I got worried about the over covering since Manning was wasting clock in the 3rd quarter so I hedged. Then I took Denver to win too. I don't have the discipline to stick to my $100 strategy with NFL. I hate the NFL. It has got me big twice. If anyone understands how to use units and can explain a brief strategy that works for you it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Basically just pick a number and stick to it. If you vary from it, do so in a principled and uniform amount. You should bet between .5% and 3% of your starting bankroll, generally speaking. Risk of bankruptcy rises sharply above 2% (obviously risk curves are different in terms of steepness if you're winning 50, 55, 60% etc., but they follow similar patterns ... and they are based off monte carlo simulations which don't necessarily approximate the WAYS that good handicappers hit 60%, so they may overestimate the risk). When you reach thresholds (25, 33, 50%, whatever fits your risk profile) of profit, recalculate your bankroll. I do 1.5/3% generally.

Seems like there should be substantial correlation between Hou -1.5 and the over 195, since memphis is the stronger defensive team and vice versa. Maybe I'm oversimplifying things, but just strikes me that houston wins a shootout. May be worth putting a small amount of what ya'll put on these two in a parlay.

if you don't have discipline then don't gamble. if you do then stick to the program and you'll be ok. units just means % of your bankroll on each game. clover is correct and I also do 1-3%.
