the giants are always a 9-7 regular season team, no reason to panic yet unless they lose to the Panthers, but if they start 0-3 then its time to panic.

Agree, this is an 8-8, 9-7 team.
They should be fine against the panthers this weekend. D should be able to get enough stops where eli wont have to throw for 500 yards for them to win.

No reason to panic when the rest of the division looks even worse arguably. Gmen should have beat Dallas . Broncos are a juggernaut and the gmen played an awful 2nd half. They'll figure it out

Manning showing signs of declining slightly, he throws lots of INT's. If they do not beat Carolina season is over and looking at 4-12 although if they win back in it. A win does wonders. I say they win real easy..Newton one of worst qbs in nfl.

Denver was able to get pressure with a 3 man rush. That and lack of a pass rush is going to make it tough. If there is not a cure to giving Eli a little time its going to be a long season.

The Giants have some wrinkles to iron out. They are very dangerous offensively. Manning tried to put the team on his shoulders to get the win and things went bad. I would not count out this team yet.
If they lose to the Panthers then it is time to worry. They lost to good teams. That happens. When they start losing to bad teams you know something is seriously wrong.

When you get mathematically eliminated from the playoffs - then Giant fans should panic. Until then, this has been the M.O. for this franchise for a while now. It's like the Chargers under Norv, except playoff success.
That said, Eli has looked absolutely dog shit. Pre-season and now into the regular season, guy is simply failing to perform. A lot of short balls.

Everyone seems to neglect the fact that Giants have been unable to establish ANY type of run game thus far. I agree that Eli hasn't looked spectacular and yes he has certainly made some rookie mistakes, but the Giants can only do so much much through the air after opposing defenses realize that's the only thing going for us.

So, Eli not being able to pass, is a result of no run game, and no run game is a result of Eli not being able to pass? Long way to go to simply say the Giants are shit on offense.
Wilson isn't a bad back, coach is an idiot for burying the guy in week 1 after a goddamned fumble. You benched your starting RB, and wonder why you can't run?

2nd and 2 yest and the giants are in the shotgun. They have no running game. They havent had a running game for the last 3 yrs. theres too much pressure on Eli to throw every down and make big plays.
The defense stinks. They give up a ton of big plays and the pass rush isnt as effective as it should be with their d line. And they lack leadership on defense. The d hasnt been the same since strahan retired.
0-3 coming. Public burial as the bettors will flock to back the giants this week.

Exactly one year ago, Giants went to CAR and blew them out 36-7. Great place for Giants to get well next game.

All they have to do is keep it close heading into the 4th quarter. Ron Rivera & company will take over from there

Giants blow out in like 42-20, Eli redeems himself and burns the panthers secondary as they keep try to blitz him and the pass rush finally shows up against cam newton

in games decided by 7 points or fewer since Ron Rivera has been head coach they are 2-14 in those games

Can't really blame Eli. He has been forced to try to make positions with the lack of the run game and Wilson can't block on passing plays. Eli does have tendency to throw interceptions and as long as their still in the race in December they are a threat.
