Unit size doesn't necessarily reflect total bankroll, or are you new to gambling?

Let me explain by example.

2 bettors. Both with a 5K bankroll.

One guy sets his unit of risk at 3% or 150 dollars.

Other guy is more conservative and decides on 1% unit of risk, or 50 dollars.

Two guys--same bankroll---different approaches to betting.

Easier to understand?

You missed the point, if you're only betting $50 units you're at a loss of 7 units before the season has begun, it's too much ground to give.

If someone is dumb enough to pay someone for their picks, do you think they're going to think about that?

Touts take advantage of their stupidity.

I don't know where it was posted, maybe it was across the street---but someone had a Vegas poll, where they asked people who paid touts what was the expected hit % of the tout----and it was something retarded like 90%. I have to find it. My point?

There are significantly more 25-50 dollar bettors who buy the services of touts that there are 100 dollar bettors.
