Who is your favorite hockey player?

black people in the U.S. hate hockey. they just don't relate to it. Next time you go to a hockey game, look at all the 20,000 fans and i bet you won't see more than a total of 2 in the whole crowd.

I was at a game in MTL recently and i decided to count the black guys in the 21,273 fans, and i found only 1. he was sitting in the upper deck eating a hot dog. i spotted him from 2 sections down.. and this was in MTL where hockey is king.. can you imagine how bad it must be in the U.S??

Every time i go to a game here, i make an o/u of how many blacks i will see there.. i usually set my o/u at 1.5 flat... so far, in 2 games this yr, the over is 1-1. the first game had 1 black guy, the 2nd game had 3 total black guys.

My 1.5 o/u is a very sharp line.

Bottom Line.... Black People Hate Hockey.

actually it's mostly because it's not "cool" to be a hockey player if you're black, add in the costs associated with hockey and it's another deterrent.

As for favorite player, I have to go Lemieux.

Easily, my 2nd fav behind Lafleur. And if i was younger and grew up as a kid in the Mario era, it'd be mario my all time fav. Man was he great. Easily, the greatest hockey player of all time. even better than wayne. if only he was healthy. the poor guy had cancer, back problems, you name it.. and still averaged 2 pts a game in his career, just like wayne.. and he didn't have messier, kurri, coffey, anderson, and the list goes on.. if he had the same career and longevity and health as wayne, today, he'd be considered The Great One instead. i miss mario. sid is nowhere near his talents. and mario grew up 7 min from my house. Long live Super Mario.
