good call. i didnt see this one being a high shot low scoring match for both sides, but im off... hoping for a strong BOS 3rd, but lehtonen has been solid so far.

Rare to see -300 or higher in pucks. I clearly remember Detroit being in the -300's a few years ago when they had their big home winning streak. I was in Vegas last year or the year before and the Canucks were -300 against the Blue Jackets when the Blue Jackets had that month where they lost every game but one or two. I'm sure Chicago had a few big lines during their streak last season. I usually only played them in regulation or on the puck line so I'm not sure. -400 or higher is ridiculous though.

yeah tonight's Sharks line is insane...anything can happen in hockey and -550 is a bit extreme imo

Now normally I wait until the goalies are posted to make most of my bets, especially a puck line wager. Last time I jumped on the Pens, that fukk stick Zatkoff got the start. I grabbed a worse # and wouldn't have made the bet had I known Zatkoff would start. In this case, Zatkoff just started against the Blue Jackets so we know Fleury will get the start. Plus, this is NBC Sports televised game on "Rivarly Wednesday." So Fleury will start and Lundqvist should start for the Rangers. Lundqvist is and always has been a work horse, but just a little food for thought: He took a shot to the face mask against the Ducks in the waning minutes of the game and appeared disoriented. He was so fukked up that he started skating to the bench and couldn't make the decision whether to get off the ice for the extra man or not and just sort of stopped halfway between the bench and his crease. The Rangers got a too many men on the bench penalty and the game was effectively over. Now, it could have just been a flash moment where he was fukked up and he's 100% fine now. He had a full day off, but head injuries are tricky. He could have had a concussion or could have been suffering a little the next day. Hockey is better than football about keeping injuries under wraps. Especially on a short card with a highly billed TV game at stake. If Lundqvist doesn't play, it will be announced late I would imagine. Now I fully expect Lundqvist to start, but like I said...just food for thought as a Lundqvist scratch would add substantial value to the early bettors.

Even with Lundqvist in net, I like the Pens here on the puck line. The Pens were 4-1 against the Rangers with Lundqvist in net last season with 3 of those wins coming on the puck line. This season, Lundqvist has been lights out in his wins and garbage in his losses. In his 4 wins he has a 0.50 GAA with a .981 Save Percentage. In his 6 losses he has a 3.99 GAA with a .874 Save Percentage. The Pens have had plenty of rest and the offensive woes continue for the Rangers. Lundqvist has started 6 games this season in which the Rangers have lost, 5 of them have came on the puck line. The commentators will be fellating Sid the Kid as they always do, I'm sure he will have a game. Pens win here 3-1, 4-1. If the Pens don't win, it will be because Lundqvist stands on his head a la what Jiggy did to the Pens and the Rangers prob win 2-1 or some other low scoring affair. The value on this game is on the Pens PL.

Just had a feeling i would lay .25 unit on buffalo. how could someone not say the value is on the +400 dog in a reg season nhl game!!!
