I joked in another thread that Baghdad Bob was acting as SBR's P.R. on this issue, but I think hiring Bob would be a step up.

SBR is literally falling over themselves ever single step of the way on this.

They have moderators discrediting administrators, who claim they were lied to, and someone thought it was a good idea to let "Jon" post a thread which made everyone completely nuts.

I'm guessing SBR is hoping, and friggin praying that this dies down, but I don't see it. I think they're fooked.

What a shame. A 25 year old liar/thief causing them this much grief. But, I'm certain SBR was compensated for their ad dollars.

SBR is running a business, getting their money in monthly installments, they didn't trust BetIslands to hold onto their cash for extended period of time, and just expect that when the time came they would pay up like we did. They had no risk, we take a large risk with money offshore. SBR has no financial responsibility here, and the only reason they can put on these huge cash tournaments, with no cost to us, is because of the advertising.

The fact that Justin7 is friends with Jon does not worry me as much as the fact that sbr upgraded BI's rating because of it's financial backer and later that financial backer seems to be the reason why everyone is getting stiffed. Even if it was just a mistake of judgement from sbr... it is a huge one and a lot of people are paying a lot of money because of this

So the top dogs of SBR who are supposed to be a watchdog are not in communication with book operators?

The reason why so many SBR members deposited in BI is because SBR said they ARE a trustworthy book. SBR should be in close contact asking for financial info every week. I guess SBR doesn't really care about the individual members here and are just happy running their own business and not giving a shit about book status.

Waiting until after the fact to drop them to an F rating shows how useless SBR really is.

Welcome to SBR where the ratings are made up and the members don't matter.
