You can put lipstick on a horse, but that don't make it pretty. Getting a better price on a one-time event doesn't mean much if your side's the clear loser.

Well, the lines team won't and shouldn't put something up completely out of line with the rest of the market. That doesn't mean I'll sugarcoat who I believe the better horse in this race is. I can promise you that I wouldn't put a red cent on the favorite.

Says the site selling Ron Paul gear, that also threw their "endorsement" behind Newt Gingrich.
Was Mitt even your bronze medal 12 months ago?

I don't understand. Sportsbook.ag is offering -165 right now, Romney-driven SBR is at -200, but it would be "out of line with the rest of the market" to drop it 30 cents or so and reflect this site's bias accordingly?

The lines team has taken a "conservative" approach in setting the line, with respect to not wanting to offer a better line than Pinnacle.

Obama goes for the clean sweep tonight. His strongest topic is foreign policy so it should be another route tonight.
3-0 and on his way to a landslide victory in just two short weeks

It is? I would've thought "How to run a Lemonade Stand" would be more up his alley, considering thats the most he's done.

This debate is Foregin Policy - Obama strengths on the subject aside, Mitt is about to get teed up. Mitt on foreign policy is a ticking time bomb. The guy makes a fun trip to the Olympics into a political gaff, which is pretty incredible seeing as which country took offense. That is not even the beginning of Mitt's failures on foreign policy issues.
I guarantee Mitt will try to bring up the economy at least every other question, which will be amazing to see because the question wont call for that dialogue and the moderator is too old to keep up mentally.

This is the least relevant of the 3 debates.
Notice how foreign policy was completely overcome by domestic policy in the town hall debate.
Everyone with half a brain has already made up their mind by this point.

It only matters insofar as how much each respective sides media will be able to spin the "win".
And to be clear, abject failure by one candidate in this debate can switch many votes. Mitt's plan going into tonight is play not to lose, meaning do enough just to get out of there. Obama needs to be on the offensive trying to destroy Mitt.

3-0? You might be the only person on this planet who thinks he won the first debate

Unfortunately a lot of people in this country don't have half a brain and they WILL be the ones deciding this election.

On foreign policy, Obama has Bin Laden and Iraq to hang his hat on. The only two things he's done that are popular. Romney's only chance is invoking some Reagan-esque sense of peace through strong defense which I think is played out and America knows it. That is why Obama is -200 in this one.
