Thanks and you are so very right. Point is that one of my first threads was to use the 60% ATS as the threshold for a successful season. I am fortunate that we are up as the NFL has chewed up some of the best handicappers I know. One week at a time and one game at a time.

Two years ago, I went 15-1 ATS in my bowl picks. I would never in a million years expect that result to ever occur again, but I have had just two losing bowl seasons in the past 18. I know you have no reason to believe that other than taking my word for it. I am confident that together we will have another successful bowl campaign. Ryan what do you think about taking eagles -3 and the under thur?

This is a very strange game. Don't know yet if Vick or Young will start for the Eagles, but this team is shot emotionally; no positive chemistry and the defense gave up against New England. Let me work the numbers and the sim and see what we come up with. I did discuss this game in the SBR NFL Opening Lines video that we recorded today. Check that out in the meantime.

No worries. I have done this for 18 seasons and there have always been games where I look foolish. However, with every play I make there are concrete, solid, and meaningful reasons why I am making that play. That is investing and not 'seat-of -the-pants' gambling. Right? LOL

Yep.. I actually pushed and I think the majority of people pushed with the game, but i will count it as a loss. JAX had a great opportunity to back door and blew it badly. i think that was a major reason Del Rio was finally fired. Enough is enough. and not calling timeout on a critical fourth down play and calling a play with just ONE receiver in the pattern was over the top bad. BUt, that is why the bad teams are bad.

To summarize 5* plays are 28-21 ATS, 3-2 ATS with 10* Titans, and 1-1 with 20* Plays. Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving.

Overall, we are up a significant amount - as many of you have stated - once you include the extra money line winners, teasers, parlays. Remember, my goal is 60% ATS by the end of the season. I have had these droughts in every season bar none so I am not in the least bit concerned. 57% ATS overall is not anything to boast about, but it is in-line with previous seasons and in-line prior to the next winning streak. I am not declaring that it will start this week. As you know by now, I plod along with one Week at a time and one game at a time framework. Thanks for the support and the loyalty. I will do my best to get more winners your way and I am confident that will be fact.

I agree fully. I still need to finish running the sim, but it appears that Dallas is the ONLY play to make for this game.

Every Thursday so far has been UNDER day. The first 2 thurs were DOgs and Unders, but thanks giving hit Fav+Dog+Fav with each staying under. I like SEA+3 and Under44 of course. What do you like? Ive personally been cold as ICE!!!

RELUCTANTLY really, but I do have a 5* graded play 'OVER' 43 1/2 -110.

I do truly see this as a high scoring game tonight. There are so many second and third players on the depth chart playing tonight and that creates missed assignments and blown coverages. Philadelphia is in complete disarray and did you know that there have 92 teams in the NFL, who have had 4-7 records and just THREE made the playoffs. Well, safe to say that number is not going to FOUR given how far each team is the playoff hunt.

These are two teams that have a lot of mental and physical issues for lack of better diagnosis and that is why I am reluctant to release a play on this game. It will either look great or it will be a clear loser. BUT, it is a graded play from the simulator and it is that 'machine' that eliminates that awful factor of why I think and any subjectivity from the heart or brain.. Laugh

Carroll is a solid 11-1 OVER (+9.9 Units) in home games in weeks 10 through 13 in all games he has coached since 1992; 7-0 OVER (+7.0 Units) in home games versus good offensive teams averaging >=350 yards/game in all games he has coached since 1992. Sim shows a high probability that the Eagles will gain 400 or more offensive yards and they are 14-3 'over' in games where they gain 400 or more total yards over the past three seasons.
