Hey guys Im pretty sure John is doing his best, I understand where he was coming from using the sim #s. Its I nice system, We are all grown and we make the final decisions as far as the playS. I went against him on the STL play cause I diagree with him mainly cause STL come off 2 Lost cause they dont have a complete team. I didn't pick CHI cause I just dont trust Cutler, I do trust the Bears defense and went with the Under play on that. Over all It is NFL sh*t happens, Im glad I won big with the BYU+Under, thanx to John.
This is just a reminder that everyone is here to state their opinions, take what you need and leave what you got on your mind.

I believe what John means is on a weekend when nothing was going right, to still go 2-3 is a pretty good deal. No one can win all the time. John's picks have proven to be pretty solid. If you don't like his picks, then don't play them. There's no reason to post this negativity on this thread.

Agreed. John takes the time to post these picks for us, which are very helpful to squares like me.

John has inspired me to come up with a system of my own and according to my #'s tonight's game is show a high probability on a high scoring game over 45. Both D's are giving up 250+ yrds this average already this season. Both has good D against the run averaging under 80 yards. Looking at the last meeting between the 2 @ Dallas the 'over' is 4-1. When the O/U line coming out with the 2 is 44 or more the 'over' is 3-0.
I watched the video this morning on John picking Dal I agree with him only cause I believe that Romo has found his groove, Dallas home opener for the season. I have no #s to side with Dal but thats just me

one...cowboys are 11-0 on turf....for the over....and from what i read Austin Miles is out and Bryant is questionable..... so as far as the spread goes....ehhhh.....lets not forget the cowboys lost the home opener recently....within last 2-3 years....i remember getting made fun of for it.....

I like Washington plus the points for a 5* play.

so Washington +3 1/2 -115 at Pinnacle. If it ends up Washington loses by three I will call it a push.

maybe teasing it with the 39 over and +9 with redskins?...or if you know another spread or game or cfb...that game that can be teased .....+15 for redskins with a 4 team teaser.....and 33 or so for the over...... Just throwing opinions.....sometimes teasers win both ways...so even playing dallas could work!

Like the pick John. I went with a teaser: Wash + 10/Over 37.5. What do you think about that one? The Colts +17.5/Under 44 worked well last night so I figured why not try another one.

A few trends to consider:
The total has gone UNDER in 4 of Washington's last 5 games when playing Dallas
The total has gone UNDER in 7 of Washington's last 9 games
The total has gone UNDER in 5 of Washington's last 7 games on the road
Washington is 5-14 SU in its last 19 games on the road
The total has gone OVER in 5 of Dallas's last 5 games at home
The total has gone OVER in 14 of Dallas's last 15 games
Dallas is 13-2 SU in its last 15 games when playing at home against Washington

Very nice. I really like my Skins +10... Mildly concerned about the over 37.5, but I feel pretty good about it.

Supporting Washington is the following system that has produced a 28-9 ATS record for 76% winners since 1983. Play against home teams with a poor scoring defense last season that allowed 24 or more points per game after a playing a game where 50 total points or more were scored. 5* play Washington.

To be fair the line at most books was +3 when I posted the play so to take 3 1/2 and count it as a win didn't feel right to state. Anyway if Washington loses by three we will take a forum vote and see if it should count as a push or win. ok?

if your taking a teaser I would lean the under 51 and +10 skins instead of over 39. Just think the redskins will attempt to be more conservative with grossman this week. any with miles out and the skins D could be a good choice.
But hopefull they both hit.

He did, but that video was last week I believe, early in the week. A lot has changed since then.
