I really doubt that Norv will be fired. San Diego is too dam nice.
Norv will probably stay as Coach until the Chargers get moved to a different city.

Too nice. Unreal. So much backstabbing in the NFL. And SD is too nice to fire Norv. Its crazy, but probably true. He should have been fired before the year.

Long overdue. For some reason, it's hard for owners to fire a coach who wins damn near every game from November to December. They're still a 1 and done in the playoffs, every year.

Norv's been the beneficiary of talent. Nothing special without it.

Didn't Norv just sign a new contract recently??

What do Chargers fans feel about AJ Smith? Is there any chance he gets fired? From an outside perspective (not being a fan of them) I feel he should take a lot of the blame for this year as I feel there's no way they miss the playoffs if McNeill and Jackson play the whole season...

doesn't matter. chargers window closed already. defense is nothing to write home about and aj smith won't admit he screwed up with norv unless owners tell him to can norv or he is out too.

Norv won't be fired this year. AJ has Norv's back and Spanos has AJ's back. I think AJ has 4 years left on his contract and Norv is finishing up his first year of a 4 year contract. But I think one more bad year without playoffs and Norv is done. It seemed like the players played flat. Norv didn't get the players ready for the game. Very disappointing.

Unfortunately rumor is out Norv Turner will coach in 2011 and the CHargers will move to LA by 2012. I read this in the Chargers forum this morning, they are looking to sell to some of the club to LA investors so the can get the permits to build in Industrial City.

AJ Smith is a knucklehead in my book. He just like Norv have long contracts and not to mention Spanos loves them both. Management and coaching no doubt cost the chargers a playoff this season, they had a cake schedule this season and lost at least a half dozen games to teams in the bottom half tier of the league.
