Giants Fans sell tickets to Patriots Fans
There have been all these questions about the Giants playing their starters or even playing hard this weekend against the 15-0 Patriots. Well, how many Giants fans will actually be there? Looks like they are out to make a profit off the Patriots fans that want to see the chance at a perfect season.

I know I would go for the profit, but who here would go or sell?

Giants ticket holders selling chance to see Brady, Patriots go 16-0

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- The chance to watch the Giants try to mar the Patriots perfect season isn't drawing many Big Blue fans to the stadium this Saturday.

Many New York Giants fans are selling their tickets to the game to New England Patriots fans who want to see quarterback Tom Brady and his teammates go for a 16-0 record in their final regular-season game.

Internet auction sites that allow customers to buy and sell sports tickets have seen a surge in ticket sales for the game by Giants fans, The Star-Ledger of Newark reported for Tuesday's newspapers.

"It looks like it's on pace to be one of our top 25 events for all time. It's definitely one of our hot sellers," Joellen Ferrer, a spokesman for Internet auction site StubHub, which specializes in tickets for events, told the newspaper. "Although it's meaningless to the Giants, it's still going to be a great game to watch."

In the first 24 hours after the Giants beat the Bills, more than 200 Giants ticket holders put their seats up for bid on the auction site, eBay.

As of Monday, about 3,000 tickets were available for purchase on StubHub

Tickets on StubHub have gone for as much as $1,600 apiece, Ferrer said.

If the Patriots win, they would become the first NFL team to go undefeated during the regular season since the Miami Dolphins finished the 1972 season with a 14-0 record.

That doesn't surprise me at all here, the Giants are already in the playoffs and they have nothing to play for Saturday. I would sell them also if I could get that much for them without a doubt. There is going to be plenty of Pats fans there that's for sure.

Bad job by Giant fans IMO - they dumped a TON of tix for the Dallas game, too.

I can't say I really blame those fans for trying to get top dollar for tickets to a meaningless game. However, I personally would want to see history made.

God forbid you should show up and support your team in hopes of BUSTING history. That stuff is demoralizing to players.

The players couldn't possibly care less. Pats fans want to see their team make history. Giants fans want some extra cash to pay for travel expenses to Tampa Bay. Seems fair.

Wish I was going. I checked Ebay last week and saw some reasonable prices but you never know on there if you're getting ripped off or not, so I didn't order any. I'm not too far away from the stadium.

Not too far away from the stadium myself. That's BS though. Season ticket holders selling to Patriots fans = .

No idea what I would do, considering I'm in no financial situation to have season tickets. If I have season tickets, I'm assuming the money isn't THAT important to me, so I'd probably go. If I won them from a radio show with my income now, yeah, I'd probably sell them.

How would they be frauds, theyve been winning since 2001.

Now if u want tru frauds, its all them bandwagon cetics fans. Im from boston and i used to get decent midlevel seats like 1hr before tipoff. Now you have all the people who think they are cool coming to the games, having now clu who else is on the celtics other than pierce, allen and KG. They're was an interview on one of our local news stations talking to a group of people going to the game, all mostly drunk and all saying celtics will be the champs. The news lady asked them who they wanted to see in the game tonite and 5/10 people said KG while another 2 said pierce. Then she asked the last 3 people and they said they wanted to see Gerald Green do a monster dunk????

The number of Celtics games I go to in a year in indirecly proportionate to the number of wins they have. That being said, I have watched more games on TV this year than any other year.

They get nowhere near as loud as several other teams fans in the league.

I've talked to plenty Patriots fans and they all talk about having to will their section into supporting their team. Many of them are not diehards, they get loud if the Patriots score, but heaven forbid another team is driving, they seriously need to be woken up by a big play.

They are spoiled fans, tons of bandwagon fans. The majority of New Englanders number one passion is the Sox..

No way I'd sell tickets if it was my team in the same situation. But that's just me. It's not like pocketing an extra grand will change my life, and I'm poor.
