The Bengals are coming off a solid showing defensively, obviously it wasn't a big test against the Rams & Brock Berlin, but the younger corners in Jonathan Joseph and Leon Hall are starting to play well. And they're expecting Madieu Williams back in the lineup at safety.

Bengals will come out trying to get Rudi Johnson going on the ground, they'll look for ways to use Dede Dorsey too, who had a 45yd rush last week. Palmer is coming off some lousy performances and should get back on track here, it's a good spot for him and his wide receivers to put up some gaudy numbers.

Shaun Hill in at QB for SF - LOL!! Has played two games his entire career. He's sat on a bench for six seasons, the 49ers will struggle getting something going, maybe they score a couple of FG's early but when it's all said and done I expect a 28-13 type of game.

Cinci is about 9 points better than SF on a neutral field. Shaun Hill starting for SF is totally irrelevant as the 49ers have been about as useless as possible on offense with Smith, so Hill can't be much worse.

The lines look to be shaded towards the favorites for this week. I plan on playing a bunch of underdogs as last week the favorites went 14-2, setting up a bunch of public money to be on faves again this week.

Good observation. This may be the one week to really cash in on the underdogs. Especailly on the moneyline.

The line dropped from -9.5 to -8 so far. So does anyone think it will go to 7.5 on gameday? or will it go back to 8.5 tomorrow? I'm deciding when, and if, I want to make a move here. I'll buy the 1/2 and get the Bengals at -120, but -130 is a little high for me to lay 7 points on a team like the Bengals with such a shotty defense, and on top of it, road chalk. 49ers do suck, but sometimes the shitty team gets lucky, especially at home. Keep in mind also, that the Bengals are 4-3 at home, and 1-5 on the road. I guess I just feel the extra 3% edge from 9.5 to 7 @ -120 would make the difference to me in pulling the trigger, and taking the risk, or laying off completely.

It's just that the Niners are soooo bad and they're going with their third team QB. And the Bengals seem to be playing a little better. Hell, Carson Palmer alone should be worth the 8 point difference.

Cinncinati never adjusted on "d" to even compete with an offense that was in the bottom rung of the NFL. I got fvcked last night and I didn't even get kissed. Thats why its gambling boys and girls.
