Why was the field in such bad shape? Don't they cover the field up till game time or was it intentional by Pitt to play on such a poor field and it got so bad that it back fired on them? Anyone know?

idk i thought it was really wierd how they were removing the tarp and they were just letting gallons of water just spill over that was sitting on top of the tarp

The field was in such bad shape and I was not surprised by the score considering how bad the field was in.
