Shaun Alexander-OUT vs Rams

Just heard this news guys, and thought I'd pass it along.

KIRKLAND, Wash. -- Seattle Seahawks coach Mike Holmgren says starting running back Shaun Alexander will miss his third consecutive game at St. Louis on Sunday because of the sprained left knee.

I honestly think Alexander is irrelivent at this point. If he is in Seattle tries to force the run. Without him they uncuff Hasselback and let him gun it.

how many people can name who the lead runner is for the patriots? great runners are made by great blockers, the best teams nowadays stay away from putting too much money into this position. seattle is now starting to do what the patriots have been doing for years-- use the pass to set up the run. alexander got a huge payday several years ago and now seattle suffers not having put that money to better use. it doesn't matter whether he plays or not.
