Chester Taylor resumed his role as the featured back with Peterson watching from the sideline.

I swear I think I'd sit AD the rest of the season and let his knee be 100% for training camp next year. The Vikes aren't going anywhere. You'd hate to see him tear up a knee like Terrell Davis did because he wasn't 100%.

Have to agree...not worth the risk...even though this will kill most of my fantasy teams.

Coach Brad Childress is now saying that he might actually start this week.

I know the Vikings need a win desperately and all, but why in the world would you even consider ruining a career of possiblely one of the greatest running backs the NFL. Unless of course this is a classic bluff job.

Childress doesn't seem bright enough to think of bluffing an opponent.

I think he only cares about his job.

if his knee is good then best case is that Chester and him split carries and they favor the carries to Chester to just let AP heal

makes sense in terms of the big pic...but the guy has a chance to re-write the record book in terms of rookie records, i'm not big on stats but i bet there's a TON of minnesota fans that would LOVE to see all day take dickerson out the book. but personally i agree with you 100%, sit the kid, he's injury prone as it is...keep him as healthy as you can and hope you can get one great championship run outta him in the five yrs or so that you have him.

Whats the latest news on Peterson this week. The last official report I heard was yesterday, and they had him listed as questionable.
