Thoughts On "The Grey Cup" Wanted

I'm going to wait to see what I can learn about the Bombers back-up quarterback. You not only lose the potential league MVP at QB, but that could greatly hamper Stegalls affect. I like Cinderella stories, but losing Glenn may be too much to overcome. No strong opinions here just yet.

I rarely play CFL, even though I'm canadian myself. However, this is the Grey Cup and I will have a wager, not sure if big or small, but I gotta take the Roughies in this one. Glen is out of comission for the Bombers, and that's going to hurt their chances.

So, Roughies -11 is my lean so far.

Not that I watch the games, but I'll probably be playing this, and am leaning Bombers +11 as well.

Just from following results, I don't see why this line is so high. The Argo's were considered to be on an absolute rampage, and the Bombers took them out fairly easily.

I like the Bombers as well, but i'm going to wait as the week goes on because i do believe that we will get a better number than +11. Winnipeg has a huge coaching edge in this game as Kent Austin is on par with Norv Turner in terms of coaching talent. Saying that, obviously it's the players who play the game, but the way i see it, if Kevin Glenn was playing the line would be about 4, so i'll take the extra 7+ points and hope that the coaching edge and the equal talent in some other key positions will be enough to get the job done.

If the East and the West in the CFL were equal and everybody were healthy the line would be -3. However, the West is stronger than the East and the Bombers are in dire straights. I am leaning towards taking a gamble on the Bombers outright if the line gets to +450 and I have any hope at all of good qb play from the Bombers.

You make a very valid point Wheell in regards to the injury factor. Maybe I hedge my original wager with a small percentage on the ML.
