    Green Bay (-9.5)
Is it just me or should this line be higher?

I don't see any way the panthers are able to stay in this game past halftime (whether they have vinny, carr, or matt moore at qb)

I mean the panthers have a hard time moving the ball against a mediocre defense, much less a good one like green bays (see the carolina performance against the titans the other week)...that combined with grant (where the hell did this kid come from) emerging as a semi-legitimate running game could lead to a win well into double digits if not a total blowout

anyone else seeing what i'm seeing?

Steve Smith is also banged up, game-time decision.

haha, i think he's just tired of dressing out just to get thrown to twice due to his getting non-stop double coverage

Yes. Grant showed he can run, Favre is going to chuck it around, and S. Smith is the only real thread on the Panthers. I say it is GB by at least 14.

The only way the Pack doesn't comfortably cover the spread is if:
            1. They (the Pack) come out uninspired.
            2. Brett throws a couple of pick-sixes.
            3. Panthers score on special teams.

Any other scenario is a comfortable Green Bay cover, IMHO.

I'd be a little concerned about putting too much on Green Bay. Carolina is much better on the road, winning their first four road games including three times as underdogs. I agree that Green Bay is the far better team and wins this game, but Carolina could surprise us by keeping it just close enough to cover. The Packers may be worth a one-unit bet, but when I sit down tonight for my final selections, I think I'll likely pass.

The line has moved the wrong way. Isn't that a good indication to take Carolina or lay off? Favre has a tendency to keep bad teams in the game and they don't have a proven RB.
