why is the odds of Cincinatti Bengals winning their division so high? I got 4.50 (decimal). I guess Baltimore (1.90) will be strong but Cincinatti still got 10 wins last season. What have I missed?Comment -
You havent missed anything, the majority of the public is just clueless. Like Peter king, who has the bengals ranked 22 going into next year haha, hilarious this guy has a job. The bengals are a far better team than last year. Public perception is why the line is so low for season wins and why the odds are so high for them to repeat as afc north champs. For the number, you cant beat it because ravens, bengals and even the steelers are all about even. I went in depth about it in my blog.

The Ravens will win the superbowl this year, a solid QB, a great O-Line, competent receivers with the addition of Boldin, a very good coach, a great RB in Rice, and always a tough defense and a great scheme, they will win their division easy with the molester Ben being out for 4-6 games and the Bengals and Browns will prove no challenge.Comment -

this is such a public play. the media and public love saying how bad the bills are. well lets look at it. they havent lost any big players from last year. people underestimate how bad of a coach dick jauron was. I forgot which but a texans player said the offense was comparable to a "pop warner" offense. they would know the plays that would be coming.
The bills led or were tied going into the 4th quarter in 14 out of the 16 games. with better coaching and the "win" attitude instead of the passive (jauron style) they probably end up with a few more wins. BUT THEY STILL have had 7 wins the past 3 years. Now im not saying their going to be a great team...but they are a young team with solid building blocks. the new 3-4 defense will be tough with the secondary being arguably one of the stronger ones.
the defense will hold them in games. i would take the over. theyll go 6-10 7-9 somewhere in that range. Can someone explain to me how the bills have gotten MUCH worse?Comment
