Honestly, this will go down as one of those games that one can view it different ways:

    1) KC dropped the TD early.
    2) KC had the upper-hand in the 1st half. If they were sharp, they would have gone into half up by 13+.
    3) The Mahomes fumble was a game-changer. Bengals capitalized and scored TD.
    4) What a ballsy 4th down call to go deep to Chase. Huge stones. And it was covered well.
    5) Thought the Bengals got jammed on a few ref calls in the 4th qtr. I'll have to see the tape.

Lastly, Ossai made a critical error. In his defense, Mahomes was hobbled and going slower than he expected.

sorry Chucky. you missed another critical play. "cool joe" in the fourth quarter of a 20-20 game: third and a few links of the chain from the 36 yard line. throws a pick, into bracketed deep coverage

Ya. Guy is human. Bad throw for sure. If he's more patient, it was clear to me they had the stronger roster in the 4th qtr.

Chucky, from my view, he was born on third, and thinks he hit a triple/homer. too cocky. he plays for a team that will eventually (2026) not pay what it takes to keep all those receivers, and thats when the fun begins.

one thing to watch, Tee Higgins. that kid is going to want $20,000,000. Brown currently pays him $3mill. higgins comes up two years before chase (2024)

history is littered with great teams that didn't get the breaks and get 0 notoriety...only the teams that win we remember.

do you remember who lost the super bowl 4 years ago

and nobody...as in 0 people...will remember in 10 years that the bengals were the better team today. it's all about how good mahomes is

michael jordan used to do the same thing. sit on the careers of other guys. for example, nobody cares about stockton and malone

This is just false. KC ran for only 42 yards for 2.1 yards/rush. The KC defense had a few sacks early but then nothing until the final drive.

    My one criticism of Taylor:
*Think you have to take the penalty yards late in the game.

Are you really worried about a hobbled Mahomes converting 3rd/22?
That was the right call because KC punted.

I think CIN would have gained about ten yards on the exchange.

Receiving the ball at the 7yd line (after the coffin corner) put them in a bad spot.

Yeah, because Mahomes was on one leg.

And Cincy RB's didn't fare any better. 13 carries for 41 yards.

5-2 sacks even though Mahomes could barely move.

Only reason it was close is because Chase and Higgins are special. Marquez Valdez-Scantling had 116 yards for gods sake. Chase, Higgins and Boyd make Burrow look better than he is actually is. Dude is overrated and some think he's the best. Hilarious.

You forgot that Bengals were playing with backup offensive lineman. When mahomes fully healthy was in the same position in the Superbowl vs tb he got his ass kicked. Remember?

On top of that the officials were awful in this game.

Laker, I think you make a valid point. Think about it like this:

*If it was a 3-game series (Home/Road/Neutral), who would be favored?

I think the Bengals would be favored. They definitely would be favored w/ the injury situation going into Sunday.

The Bengals COULD HAVE won the game yesterday. It's only played once, and KC won it.

Anybody who cashed KC tickets (including me) should feel fortunate. KC got home on fumes.

The ONLY thing I forgot was that the WWE was in full effect here. That's on me. Cashed on KC live as well. Was some two way trading at the end that was nice.

You keep harping on the mahomes was hurt angle its like you work for the networks. He was in a no lose position with that story. He wins he was so tough and overcame. He loses and he was hurt. Hopefully KC has enough time to get healthy for the big game. We don't need another game where Philly is playing vs corpses.

I had KC winning this game because everyone overlooked the most important part of the game, the trenches. I knew Chris Jones and Clark were gonna own that Bengals O line.

Having said that, I feel for you here. I won on KC but it feels like dirty money. This is the most rigged playoff game I've seen since that NFC championship between Kapernick and Russel Wilson.

Strong reason to believe the refs were paid off by Vegas, or something happened here. They were doing everything in their power to let KC win, so obvious.

Well, he certainly was hurt. And he managed to overcome it. He's the best QB in the NFL and it's not close. I hope he gets to 100% too, but I doubt it. High ankle sprains just don't generally resolve in 2 weeks.

Super Bowl is close to a coin flip. Eagles 53% chance is about right. But one side will win and those who bet that side will claim they knew it would happen. I will have $0 wagered on the side going into the game.

Nobody is talking about the worst call of the weekend which was MVS reaching then retracting the ball short of the first down.
You don't get forward progress if you voluntarily bring the ball back.
The fact the booth overturned this is inexcusable.
They literally make up and change the rules as they see fit.

LB you are better than this

no matter the result, you knew going in that KC had in their favor:

    1) home field
    2) major emotion having lost 3 or 4 straight to Cincy
    3) Mahomes ankle was hurt not his arm. his arm is the key.

Homie this game was 100% rigged bro. That's coming from a guy who was all over KC. Call it how I see it. Books would takes months to recover from this game if Bengals won.
