I was just thinking about the Super Bowl today and a pretty innocuous game that was played this year occurred to me.

Nov 1st SF 49ers at Indy. The Colts won 18-14 on a halfback pass by Joseph Addai. In that game the 49ers did not blitz and focused on pass coverage. Manning did pass for a lot of yards, 347, but that was on 48 attempts and no TDs for Manning. His longest pass completion was 20 yards and he was forced to dink and dunk the whole game.

I think this type of approach may work for the Saints better than the try to kill the head to kill the body they have been talking about pregame. Anyway just a thought, and will be interesting to see if the Saints find anything to copy in this game vs. the Colts.
