IF the last game of the season on Dec28 means nothing for the Colts in their playoff position, would a defeat by the Titans be a good strategy to lessen the probability of Titans, a team in their own division, drafting Mariota?

I remeber at the end of the 2011 season the favored Texans lost to the woeful Colts. I thought this was a good 10 year strategy so that the Colts woudn't have the number one pick in 2012. They woudnt have to face Luck in their own division for ten years. It didnt work out: the Colts lost to the Jaguars on the last day of the season to secure the number one pick anyway.
