SBR's Dustin Saracini offers his NFL stat leader predictions for each market:

    Most regular-season passing yards
Prediction: Joe Burrow (+550 via FanDuel)
Sleeper pick: Jared Goff (+1300 via BetRivers)

"There's a reason why Joe Burrow is the favorite to lead the league in passing yards once again and quite simply, it's because of his defense. The Cincinnati Bengals are and will always be in catch-up mode because of their defensive unit, which allowed an average of 26 points per game a year ago. Now, did they do anything in the offseason to seal up their leaky secondary or subpar front-seven that allowed 348 yards of total offense per game?

They attempted to in the draft (the Shemar Stewart saga lives on), and hired a new defensive coordinator, but overall, I can firmly say they didn't add enough talent. The result - a heavy dose of passing from Mr. Burrow this year if the Bengals want to get back into the playoff picture.

That's right, fire up Burrow as one of our best NFL stat leader bets and NFL futures overall, because he's going to cruise to a +550 win (betting odds via FanDuel, DraftKings at +500 is the second-best sportsbook to place this NFL future). Not only did he take the No. 1 spot by close to 300 yards from Jared Goff in 2024, but he had 652 pass attempts last year - the next closest was Aaron Rodgers at 584. We're talking pure VOLUME, baby. Ja'Marr Chase is back, Tee Higgins is back, and, while I like Chase Brown spearheading the ground game, he's never owned a workhorse load across an entire season. It's Burrow's time to repeat - just look at his NFL MVP odds for further evidence."

    ‍Most regular-season rushing yards
Prediction: Jonathan Taylor (+1000 via BetRivers)
Sleeper pick: Josh Jacobs (+2100 via FanDuel)

"There are two main questions you need to ask yourself prior to placing your NFL stat leader bets for most regular-season rushing yards: does the running back own a handcuff? And does he get enough volume? By answering these questions, you've eliminated some top contenders already.

Jahmyr Gibbs? No, thank you. Christian McCaffrey? Great, but he won't be getting the lion's share of the workload this year coming off his late-season injury. That leaves the big dogs like Saquon Barkley, Derrick Henry, Jonathan Taylor, and Bijan Robinson. From there, I'm extracting some value.

JT at +1000 is simply too strong of value pick to pass up. And even better, nobody in that backfield will be taking touches away from him. Consider him one of my favorite NFL futures.

If the Colts want to win football games with Anthony Richardson (or Daniel Jones) at the helm, it's ground first, and Taylor is the perfect fit to not only get the carries but to lead the league in rushing this season if health permits. Taylor was fourth in the NFL in rushing (1,431 yards) last season despite missing a handful of games due to injury.

The one year he played a full season was in 2021, and guess who led the NFL in yards? That's right, Jonathan Taylor, with over 1,800 yards on the ground. If he stays healthy, he'll be right there at the end of the year, and you'll be happy you have a +1000 ticket."

    Most regular-season receiving yards
Prediction: CeeDee Lamb (+1200 via FanDuel)
Sleeper pick: Amon-Ra St. Brown (+2800 via FanDuel)

"Now, I want to get this out there - I really love Ja'Marr Chase to repeat and record the most receiving yards this year (reasoning? see above), but in fear of double-dipping, we're going to look elsewhere for our best NFL stat leader bets. We're headed to the big D for this one and taking CeeDee Lamb at +1200 for our NFL futures.

I was thinking about pivoting to Justin Jefferson in this spot, but rookie quarterback J.J. McCarthy is too big of a wild card for me to drop my hard-earned money on.

Not only do I believe the arrival of George Pickens will help alleviate some of the double-teams Lamb is accustomed to seeing, but he has far-and-away been one of the best separation receivers in the NFL for quite some time now. And even though he missed a couple of games last year, he still broke 1,000 yards for the fourth straight season.

Let's not forget that the last time he was healthy and suited up for an entire season was just a couple of years ago in 2023, when he came second in receiving while logging 1,749 yards, second to only Tyreek Hill (1,799). Throw caution to the wind with Dak Prescott here, too - the value is worth it."
