Worth a quick read. CB Ward acknowledges that something is off on the team. Make your own assessment as to what that might be.
Made my opinion known in my pick thread. I'm on Seattle. A few things stick out to me:
1) The pre-season holdouts didn't help. Williams and Ayiuk held out.
...That means they're not training with the team.
...Invariably, they sign. That means that SOMEONE ELSE is not getting paid.
...Self-absorbed view filters into the locker room. That's not a team getting ready to win a championship.
2) Injury to RB McCaffrey.
...He's one of the few backs that I'd change my ratings for.
...He is always well-conditioned. Feel like he would have polished off the Rams/Cardinals.
3) Kicker injury to Moody.
...Journeyman kicker replaces Moody.
...May or may not be a factor.
