    These kinds of bets are never worth it, but since it's the only NFL lines will see for months, we'll talk about it.

    Put a gun to my head, I'll take Rams 60-1. If Bradford can actually stay healthy, they'll contend for a playoff spot.

      Seahawks 5/1 doesn't convince me. They might go 11-5 next season and might not even make it to the Superbowl. And why in the hell are 49ers 18/1? The first post-Harbaugh season just doesn't look convincing to me and by the odds, they're ranked 4th in the NFC.
      Nope, not worth it.

          The best time for me to bet on NFL futures is during the offseason.
          Before these lines get juiced during the regular season.
          But sometimes the lines can increase value if the favorite plays terrible during the regular season.

            I notice the odds slide once the free agents start to get signed. Might want to circle March 10th on the calendar.
