Eagles - exhibition schedule

Does anyone know if a team has ever played on Sunday night and turned around and played again on Thursday? One of these games, the Eagles will probably be playing virtually all of its scrubs (i.e. undrafted rookie free agents). But which game? I expect they would want to have a decent showing before a national audience on Sunday, but knowing they play again in four days has to come into effect.

Any thoughts?

i don't know if playing a night game on a sunday oppose to a day game would really matter all that much, or if it ever happened before in league history.

I just think I'd be ticked as a coach if I had to play a meaningless game on Sun and turn around and play another meaningless game four days later. Especially when your main concern is keeping all your players healthy. I just think that the Eagles coach basically "writes off" one of those games...

Well, it's not like players are playing the whole game. No one will be on the field for more than a half in either game, so it's probably not much of a concern.
