    Newbie Here
    Hello everyone,

I'm new to the forum and just have a few questions I hope can be answered. I've bet in the past, though will be opening a new account on either Pinnacle or 5dimes. I've browsed both sites, and they both seem to be quite reputable. I assume I'll be good to go on either, but would welcome any insight on which might be better. Keep in mind I'll only be opening an account with one at the moment.

I guess my biggest question is about ease of depositing/withdrawing. I've looked over the methods on each site, but would like to hear some first hand experience on which may better suit me. I do live in the U.S. I'd prefer to not have a checking/bank account linked up to the account at all, and a lot of the methods I've found that would let me do this either aren't available to U.S. bettors or they require a higher minimum deposit than I'd like to make. Maybe I'm just missing the obvious here, but is there a way for me to do this? For the sake of this post assume I'd like to start with a deposit no larger than $50.

Thanks for reading and I look forward to posting more on here.

First off, Welcome to the SBRforum

Since you live in the U.S. then unfortunately Pinnacle (SBR Rated A+) is not an option for you however, your in luck. Because 5Dimes (SBR Rated A+) does accept U.S. players.

As far as deposits go. My advice would be to goto wal-mart and send your funds with one of those 2 wire services they offer.

Here is a little more info on 5Dimes for you:

5Dimes (SBR Rated A+) is the flagship of the 5Dimes family of books and offers a wide selection of wagering options. If and when you decide to signup there make sure you choose the "low vig" offering over the bonus because by doing that everyday is a bonus due to the fact your not losing as much in the overall grade scheme of things sorta speak.

Thanks for the information. I guess I glossed over the part that Pinnacle doesn't accept U.S. bettors. Well I guess that makes that decision easier.

I looked on the 5Dimes site and it mentions Person to Person and Person to Company. When you click the links it doesn't elaborate much. I'm assuming this is because I haven't created an account yet. Am I right that Person to Company would be the Walmart wire option? Sorry if these are simple questions, just want to get everything in order.

Yes, Person-to-Person would be the wal-mart option I was referring to sir. If you have any questions you would like to ask 5Dimes 5Dimes (SBR Rated A+) they do offer a live chat feature where they would be more than happy to assist you with.

BTW, If you're going to signup at 5Dimes (SBR Rated A+) then might I suggest you become an SBRpro and maximize your gaming experience by earning comps/freebies by just merely contributing here on the SBRforum.
