i have just been tailing these guys, when i see a sonny 10x 2h bet i drop the ******* bomb!!!!!!! when i see college over under HUGE PLAYS, i drop the ******* bomb, i pick one guy to tail for the day, i play all of filmoz 5x plays, cou 20x30x40x plays, hatters 10u plays, bucks plays, and EVERY SINGLE ONE OF SONNYS 2H10X PLAYS!!!

If I had a 10x play, I would post it. I am worried about this guy, he is betting on sports he has no idea about, just to have something to bet on. I am not gonna respond like "oh yeah of course, you should throw all your money on Team Z!"

LOL!! Is that just karma that the competitor selling his picks starts out the contest with a 10-19 record? How many people do you think will sign up?

Also curious to know your thoughts on the topic of winning percentage & overall strategy. Everyone seems to insist that hitting 60% winners can't be done. I've heard some people say that 55% is what the best cappers can do....I disagree. I still consider myself an amateur bettor, but I have managed to hit 63%, 61% and 57% on NFL & college football the last three years. I don't use units, just bet every play the same. I usually would only have 3 or 4 plays each weekend, so the sample size isn't huge (average of 72 plays per year).

Since you're a numbers guy, was wondering what your thoughts were on winning percentage & my strategy of betting every game the same amount...

Oh, and I almost forgot...I think I'm 10-19 overall in NCAA basketball this year...are you interested in paying me for these premium selections?

I'm not an accountant, I'm a lawyer, but regardless. Flat-betting the same amount every play can help you avoid really bad downswings, but it also limits your upside. Obviously, if you know what you are doing in picking games, then you have to vary your bet sizes to reflect your confidence in certain picks. A large, well-thought-out bet can save your whole week or month.
