Wish I was capy but I'm on Marquette -8 and Marquette over 81.5. They beat a good wisconsin team and scored 61 points in madison, something only explosive offenses do haha. Washington has lost both away games and this game is in NY so far far away from them. Far for Marquette to but hopefully the neutral court won't bother them. I compare Mizzou and Marquette as they are both high powered, fast running athletes that can shoot the ball. BOL capy

Quick question, do you not cap your own games? Cuz what would line movement have to do with affecting your position on this game? Especially since line movement can be caused by one of 10 things

I was not feeling comfy with that play at the end of the day, capping or not, sometimes you get that feeling my friend and this was that day. If the line moved to 8 or 8.5 and stayed there I would of stuck with the original bet.........But pinny did not budge on the 7.5.

i cant explain this as good as some others in here can, but in filmoz thread if your tailing him, then dont pay attention to the line movement if you can get a better number..so in this case you can get a better number then filmoz can so lock it in.... however, if filmoz is playing a team and lets say that team is -3 and you can only get it at -3.5 - -4.5 then come in here and ask filmoz if its still a play at the higher number. hope i said this right and it makes sense to you. good luck tonight with your plays7

Why do people on an open thread feel the need to laugh or look down on others who are just looking to learn? If you're such an expert move to Vegas, sit in a sportsbook and mind your own business. as I said earlier, if someone is going to ask that simple of a question, they shouldn't be betting. You said you don't know much about CBB (if you don't know how lines work in CBB, then how do you even know how lines work in any other sport....???), so why are you even betting on it? i didnt know sbr was the be all end all for sportsbetting ... i have been following sports and betting albeit small sums with average success for 30 years .... and i still deal with a regular old "sal the book" in the deli, so why would when someone joins sbr make a difference on what kind of gambler a person is ? im not trying to be a dick, im just curious ....

Okay well I started that thread to promote discussion and try to help people but if no one is responding, there is no reason for me to waste my own time in a dead thread.....I could care less if people congratulate me??? Yeah, you made the right call tonite lol. Although to be fair, ECU got a little run going there. The game ended real close considering the hole they dug themselves early on. I hate when teams are able to claw almost all the way back from a huge deficit but not quite get the cover; it shows that they had what it takes to get the cover in the first place, if they just wouldn't have gotten off to such a bad start.
