The Missouri Valley Conference has certainly come a long way in recent years, but we feel that Bradley may be getting TOO much respect here laying points on the road to a 7-3 Big 12 school.
Yes the Braves are 6-3 SU, but they have yet to win a game on the road, with five wins coming at home and the sixth coming on a neutral floor. They are 0-2 in their only true road contests, losing by 29 points at Michigan State and getting upset at Tennessee Tech. In fact Bradley has lost three of its last four games overall with the only win coming vs. Wright State, which hardly exudes confidence in a road favorite.
The Cyclones are 7-3 SU overall including 6-1 here at home, where their only loss was by just two points. Iowa State is allowing just 61.4 points per game vs. Division IA competition while limiting those schools to 40.0 percent shooting from the floor, which is a positive trait for any home underdog. By comparison, Bradley is allowing 71.1 points per game vs. DI schools on 44.7 percent shooting.
