UNLV currently blowing out Nevada

UNLV is actually playing a solid game on the road against its big rival UNR. The surprising thing is, its against a ranked team. It would be nice to see UNLV take down a ranked team, number 19 Nevada.

I hope I didnt just jinx them.

UNLV wins the game 58-49. Nevada made a run in that 2nd half, but still came up short.

This is the first road win against a non-conference ranked team since 1991. That was when #1 UNLV beat #2 Arkansas on the road.

You think this will get the Rebels in the top 25? Or just some votes?

I doubt it's going to get them in the top 25, much less any soild votes for with this win. However, it's a good sign for the Rebels programs this year.
