Was over 7 units down not too long ago so I'm enjoying this mini run right here alot. This play will be my biggest one yet and I feel real good about it.. Felt so good to make it an avatar play. And you know the avatar plays usually win!!! Good luck if you follow this one!!


3* Iowa (1st Half)
I realize there is no line yet but wanted to get this out already..Now I'm only looking at the games where Ia State had decent competition I'm not looking at games where they played Lake Superior and shit..
1st half scores
vs Minn 25-28
vs N.IA 24-33
vs Drake 40-33

Pretty obvious Iowa State doesn't start out very good and Iowa is actually a pretty good 1st half team. Remember they came out firing vs NIA. Iowa just lost a game they probably should of won and this season is getting away from them so expect a nice focused start to this game. IA State has folded when put against quality competition and the crowd should really be in this one. I love the Hawkeyes first half look like gold IMO. .

I wouldn't say that Iowa came out firing against Northern Iowa as much as Northern Iowa's shooting was extremely weak in the 1st half. Iowa State is a young team and very streaky. They can look horrible for one moment and look great the next, for this reason I'm staying away from the game. I would think Iowa State could have a hard time on the road with a young team, but the main cog in the wheel played great on the road @ Minnesota, Mike Taylor. Don't play against Iowa State too long because come Big XII tournament time they will be a different team, coaching will have a lot to do with it. Iowa is a tough team for me to judge so far this year, Smith is doing ok, but should get better and Haluska is by far their best player. He should have some revenge in mind tonight as he transferred from Iowa State.
