Has anyone followed small college conferences?

I have ample information available for the Horizon League Conference. I am going to try to follow them as close as possible this year and find some weak lines. Has anyone tried handicapping a small local conference?

That's the best way to make money, but overnight limits on totals are a joke.

I agree with owned on this one. The smaller conferences can be very profitable if you have good info.

Don, I have done it with the Sun Belt a few years back and did fine.

What type of handicapping did you use? What ended up being the reason that you found discrepancies? Were you more up to date on injuries, motivations, etc...??? Were they just setting weak lines? What was most profitable, the sides or totals. Any info in doing this would help immensely.

Any recommendations on good books that put out small conference lines early?

pinnacle, I think totals are $357 overnight though? Many good books wil have the sides overnight though

some of those small school totals will move literally 20 points in the first month of the season
