    The Nets Are On Fire
The streak almost ended yesterday, but in the end, Jersey pulled out win #13 in a row and won the Atlantic Division with a 96-94 win over Atlanta. They had a 23-point fourth-quarter lead at one point, but somehow managed to allow the Hawks to come back and make it a one-point game.

they just won there 14th straight game, and set there franchise record tonight.

how much of a playoff threat could they be though, when the playoffs roll around.

Of course they got a shot, but the key player in the playoffs will not be Kidd, Jefferson, or Carter, but Krstic. They need production from that spot and if the big 3 do what they do, they'll have a great chance imo.

I would say the Nets have more of a chance to defeat the Pistons than
the Heat. I still think the Nets depend too much on their perimeter game.

The east is still down, so anything can happen.

Defense doesn't go into slumps. If healthy, Detroit wins the championship this season.
