so how long do we have to wait before we can say that the carmelo trade was one of the stupidest in history, on par with herschel walker? nets have got to be glad they got williams. carmelo is dominique wilkins with a little more talent. i feel bad for amare. he is doomed to several 44-38 seasons of first round exits and regular season losses to garbage teams like cavs and pacers.

I think the Knicks will cover that -9 2nd half spread... I can see them gaining momentum 2nd half and pulling off a couple of points victory... But the Pacers will cover the original spread no matter what...

It's not just the players, it's the coaches. When you are led by coach Mike D'antoni, it is almost impossible to step on the court with an all out effort and to take the game serious. Amare is great, but the rest are not that motivated game in and game out. The rest of this team could come out and play poorly and they know that coach D'antoni will just shrug his shoulders and not ream them a new one like a coach Rivers, Popovich, or a Jackson would do. If the players don't respect the coach then it is a losing situation.
