New Orleans scoreless for over a quarter...
New Orleans up 59-49 with 8:03 in Q3.
New Orleans down 59-74 with 7:41 in Q4.

A 25-0 run. That is just sick.

          * New Orleans scored 8 points in Q3 and 8 points in Q4; 16 points in a half!!
          * After 4 minutes into the second half, New Orleans went scoreless for over a quarter, and scored only 8 more points.

NBA has a problem. It's called TOTAL lack of effort and interest.
(because the players make too much money!)

Chris Paul had 10 assists in the first half.

The TEAM had (I think) 6 buckets in the second half.

NOK has a plane ride home and four days off just ahead of them. I think the game ended for them early in that 25-0 run

I think Byron Scott did what he could to punish them -- he left them in there. Seems to me the starters came out with just a couple of minutes left.

well this from a coaching point i approve, but i want their bank accounts to suffer, just like any unfortunate bloke who has backed them for this game.
i mean a professional team can't score 16 points in 24 minutes. if you do something like this on any regular job you'll get fired immediately.

Thats just uncalled for. No NBA team should go through a stretch like that. I guess they dont care because they have their Millions.

Perfect Example of why CBB is so much better than the NBA. I am so
tired of these spoiled brat N.B.A players who don't show up everynight.

They shattered the record for lowest points scored in any half in the shot clock era. The old record was 19.

Let's congratulate the NOK players with the record.

We should have a weekly/monthly award on the forum for most infamously outstanding team...we've already got the first winner, it's a lock.

I went to the '98 finals game when the Bulls blew out Utah 96-54. Utah's 54 points was at that time the fewest scored in league history. The point is, as bad as Utah played that day it was nothing like what the Hornets did tonight. That had to be the worst basketball I have ever seen.

Unreal performance. Clippers are good, but almost any team could score atleast few points in 12 minute span. Hornets couldn't hit a bucket or even a ft in that time. I'm glad they didn't do this yesterday when i had over in Sonics game.
