3 free throw attempts for the Hawks and 16 for the Heat.

Theres no reason to think anything will change in the 2nd half and I wouldn't be surprised if the Heat wind up with 35 FT attempts with the Hawks having around 8.

When you have an extra 20-25 point cushion provided by the referees, you have to play pretty darn bad to lose and Miami played about as bad a half as I have ever seen.

Its the same story every time a high profile NBA team is getting drilled at home with the referees taking over the game in favor of the high profile team that is losing.

Its one of many reasons why I despise basketball from a betting standpoint.

The referee cheating is even worse than I thought.

Midway through the 4th quarter, Atlanta still has only 3 FT attempts to the Heat's 24.

Absolutely ridiculous.

How the hell are the Hawks still in this game?
