So I've previously done well betting lately so I figured I would start recording my record for myself (because I like keeping stats) and for the purpose to show you my plays and if you like them, you basically have another opinion on the game. I love when people have threads tracking there betting so like I mentioned before, I will be keeping my record and be talking about the games while they happen and at the same time I will be posting songs that I live my life by. I am always out and about listening to music EVERY where I go. I'm a guy that likes to party but I also like chill music. I like Rap, Hip Hop, Techno, Dubstep, Rock, 80s, everything you can think of except country. Basically I just want a thread that I can call my own and have fun in weather people follow me or not. Illmatic is the best hip hop album ever. The end. I still have that cd in my car and listen to it occasionally without skipping a song. Thats saying a lot since noone really listens to cds as it is anyway.

To be fair, there is not a lot of albums that are good from start to end. Not just now, but even the good ones from the past had song i'd skip. Some sucked, in some cases they did not suck but the other songs where just much better. Illmatic is just consistent throughout, every song is great. Helps that there is only 11 (10?) i guess no filler skits, no club joints etc.

Since we're talking, i'd like to throw 2 of my favs into the mix. They happen to be the 1st 2 rap albums i've heard in my life. ** forever and Hell on Earth by Mobb Deep. I like these 2 over 36 chambers and Infamous actually (although all 4 are classics).

Heh, i remember it was a jaw dropping moment for me the 1st time i watched Shogun Assassin and the part from the intro came up. WHen i was little, my father was famous.....shogun decapitator....people said his brain was infected by Devils...then Cage used that in a sample for another great song.

i'll take swords, ironman, clientele, cuban lynx, even deck and masta killa's solo albums, before any of the group albums, personally. They all saved their best shit for their solo albums. plus, i think rza and whoever else produced prob got more points on those than the ones that had to be split 15 ways or whatever, so they're obviously gonna grind a lil harder on those. That's why they only had 2 group albums during their heyday. Plus, they knew those solo albums would go plat in the streets alone, so they didn't really have to throw so many darts at the singles charts (no pun inten... well, ok, hahah).
