Under Phoenix/Portland 204

what do you guys think about this one??


portland has been an UNDER machine this year at home - at 2-5 (and 1 of the 2 victories was an overtime game that would have gone under if not for overtime). Also 5 of the last 5 matchups between the 2 teams and 6 of the last 8 have all gone UNDER as well

I totally see a like a 101-93 type score in this one

I have mixed feeling this game. It just depends who takes the tempo over here. If its a fast paced game and the Suns control the temp I see it going over. If Portland is in control I see the under covering. The trends are definitely in favor of the under though.

portland has been excellent at controlling tempo against fast paced teams like phoenix this year though


home against phoenix early in the year - 106 - 92
home against toronto - 97 - 84
home against denver - 86 - 83


all those games went way under the line. Really the only game that went over was the one against Oklahoma city but that game was 9 points UNDER the line before they went into overtime


also keep in mind that Portland has really been struggling offensively

I like Phoenix plus the points. I would lean on the under, but I'm staying away from it.

it's phoenix the game will probably go over 220. portland can score against sh-t defense

lunchbawks has the right idea, IMO. Yeah, Portland has been awful on offense, but the best cure for a struggling O is the Phoenix D. I wish you guys luck, but personally I would NEVER take an under involving the Suns that is this low. They might give up 204 points themselves.

these 2 teams played earlier in the season and there was only 198 points total scored. Portland was a much better offensive team at that point as well


i'm expecting a 99-92 type score in this one
